Now, this isn’t just an abstract concept. The Sun and the Earth, and the dance between them. It might look something like this:įocusing on just one of those poles for now, can you see how my conscious Sun (Gate 15) is at the top and my conscious Earth (Gate 10) is at the bottom of the pole? This represents the polarity between the Masculine and the Feminine. Then, you could take your unconscious Sun and Earth Gates and put them at their respective ends of another pole (a different one) in your other hand.Īnd then, finally, you could take the two poles and cross the them together. And then place your conscious Earth Gate (mine is Gate 10) on the Feminine end of the pole. mine is Gate 15) on the Masculine end of the pole. Now, imagine placing your conscious Sun Gate (ex. On the other end of the pole - the opposite end - you have the Masculine. The polarity principle states that there is a single pole (now, imagine holding a pole in your hand), and on that pole there are two ends. So, what does this have to do with polarity? These four Gates make up your Incarnation Cross.Īs an example, my Incarnation Cross is the Right Angle Cross of the Vessel of Love and the four Gates in my cross are 15, 10, 25, and 46. The Gates in your:Īnd, your unconscious Earth ?(also in red) The Incarnation Cross in Human Design is made up of four Gates on your Human Design chart. We see things from a Geocentric perspective - ironically enough, a more Feminine perspective.Īnd, this is how they dance together: The Incarnation Cross
In Human Design though, they’re both moving. She’s colorful, she’s complicated, and she’s moving. The other planets in our solar system revolve around him, while he remains in his place, static. Most of us see the Sun as a masculine energy. In Feminine Human Design, I see the Incarnation Cross as a perfect representation of masculine and feminine polarity.
